What's wrong with your content? Or better yet, what's right?

Amanda Jordan and Melissa Popp of RicketyRoo joined us for an entertaining teardown and audit session of attendee-submitted content—with a focus on multi-location businesses.

Top takeaways from Amanda and Melissa's session

Watch the full video below for all the good stuff, but here are a few highlights:

  1. Create touch points of trust across your site and content. Your target user has a very human pain point that they are already aware of. If people encounter location-optimized pages that don’t immediately address their pain point or build trust, it’s a poor experience.

  2. Take the time to build quality pages.Otherwise, it’s a waste of your time. Focus on topical and local relevance more than domain authority.

  3. Make sure your GBP is fully optimized. Complete it as much as possible and keep it up to date.

  4. Be intentional about what you’re doing and why you’re doing it. What actions would you take today if you knew this business would be your client for the next 10 years?

  5. Forget the short-term quick SEO wins. Many multi-location businesses are looking to grow and expand. Choose quality over quantity every time.
